Bahia Lakes Community Development District (CDD) is responsible for the maintenance and management of the six fresh water ponds/lakes within the community.  Fishing on these lakes is controlled by the CDD and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, through Fresh Water Fishing Regulations.  http://www.eregulations.com/florida/fishing/freshwater/

Fishing in District Ponds. Fishing is prohibited on all ponds for non-residents. Fishing is permitted in all District ponds by residents only behind their own property. All fishing will be strictly catch and release, with a valid State of Florida Freshwater Fishing License in physical possession while fishing and must be shown to a District member if requested. Net fishing is prohibited. Cast net fishing is prohibited. Any removal or destruction of aquatic plants or endangerment of wildlife is prohibited. Residents living on one of the six lakes, have a "right to privacy" in their back yard and should not have to deal with people loitering / fishing behind their home.
